The terms that apply when you use our website or enrol in a Kinfold service.
Last updated: 1 January 2025
Please read carefully
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Kinfold website at kinfoldikas.biz and your enrolment in any of our educational or administrative services. By accessing our website or registering for a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If any part of these Terms is unclear, please contact us before proceeding.
1. About Kinfold
Kinfold is an educational and administrative services organisation registered in Bangkok, Thailand. Our address is 64 Sathon Tai Road, Thung Maha Mek, Sathon, Bangkok 10120. We can be reached at [email protected] or +66 2 287 6914.
2. Nature of Our Services
Kinfold provides the following services, each of which is educational or administrative in nature:
- Family Communication Workshops — group educational sessions on everyday communication skills, practical exercises, and household coordination. These sessions are general education and do not constitute personal counselling, psychological treatment, or professional advice of any kind.
- Household Document Organisation Service — an administrative service helping households arrange their own records and documents using templates and a guided filing system. We organise materials you provide and do not interpret, advise on, or draw conclusions from their content.
- Co-Parenting & Family Coordination Programme — a structured educational programme covering communication frameworks, cooperative scheduling, and planning tools for families sharing responsibilities. Content is limited to communication and organisation skills and does not constitute legal, psychological, or family mediation services.
Nothing in our services, materials, or communications constitutes legal advice, psychological or therapeutic treatment, financial advice, or any other form of professional advisory service requiring a regulated licence. Participants are encouraged to seek appropriately qualified professionals for advice on specific personal, legal, or health matters.
3. Eligibility
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Where a service is attended by or on behalf of a minor, a parent or legal guardian must register and take responsibility for the minor's participation.
4. Enrolment and Booking
To enrol in a service, you may submit an enquiry through our website contact form or contact us directly by telephone or email. A booking is confirmed only when we have acknowledged it in writing (by email). We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion without obligation to provide reasons.
Prices are listed in Thai Baht (THB) and are inclusive of any applicable Thai value-added tax unless stated otherwise. We may update prices from time to time; the price applicable to your booking is that confirmed at the time of written acknowledgement.
5. Payment
Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking. We will provide details of accepted payment methods when acknowledging your enrolment. Full payment is typically required prior to the commencement of a service. We do not store payment card details.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule:
- Cancellations made more than seven calendar days before the scheduled service date will receive a full refund of any amount paid.
- Cancellations made within seven calendar days of the service date may be subject to a partial charge to cover preparation costs already incurred.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the service date may not be eligible for a refund.
- Where Kinfold cancels or reschedules a session for any reason, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date, at your choice.
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as possible at [email protected] or by telephone.
7. Session Materials
Materials provided as part of a Kinfold service — including guides, workbooks, templates, and checklists — are provided for your personal use in connection with the service only. They remain the intellectual property of Kinfold and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our written permission. Nothing in these materials constitutes professional advice.
8. Conduct During Sessions
We aim to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment in all our sessions. Participants are asked to engage with one another and with facilitators in a considerate manner. Kinfold reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a session if their conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to others, without obligation of refund in such circumstances.
9. Confidentiality in Group Sessions
Where services are delivered in a group setting, participants may hear personal information shared by others. We ask all participants to treat such information with discretion and not to share details about others outside of the session. Kinfold facilitators observe professional confidentiality and will not share individual participant information with third parties except where required by law.
